Sarah O'Connor

A note from the artist herself...

"My introduction to sculpture started at a young age and developed during the 1970s under the guidance of a Turkish tutor, Erdigan Mehmet.

These creative talents were used during the 1980s in London creating floral displays for society weddings, functions and events. (see also Sarah O'Connor Flowers)

I have recently returned to sculpture and developed my skills, through love of nature and the beauty of the given form, into a traditional representation.

Having developed my skills through a variety of 3D techniques, including blacksmithing, my main work has been in creating commissioned reduced-scale portraits of pets and children cast into bronze.

I enjoy working to other people's ideas and bringing shape to thoughts, hence developing logos and other ideas in images."
